Ricci Construction Group won the 2011 HOBI Award (CT Home Building Industry Award) for Outstanding Residential Remodel for this graciously appointed home.

Originally built in 2002, the homeowner contracted with us to completely remodel the 4,000-square-foot existing space and add space for a total of 5 bedrooms, 6 full, and 3 half baths.

The exterior of this home was refinished in stucco with stone accents. We built an outdoor covered porch with patio and fireplace in the back and an open porte cochere at the front elevation constructed of custom fabricated structural steel and a copper standing seam roof for a protected entry into the home. The new Wood Mode kitchen is designed to incorporate a red white and blue theme including blue granite and red granite counters, and a double-arched stair was added in the foyer.

A prayer room and a men’s entertainment room with a mahogany coffered ceiling and mahogany wainscoting were also added.
