It was a big step  deciding to have remodeling work done on my home made more challenging as  I am a widow making decisions without my partner.

Having people in my home for almost 5 months on a daily basis actually was fun.  Seeing the work competed with such care and quality was exciting for me.  When  I asked for extra consideration with  smaller projects within my home all efforts were made to accommodate my requests.

We were very lucky to have John Ricci and his crew working on our building. We were under time constraints and had to have the building up within a certain period of time. Not only did he keep his word and come in on time but he came in ahead of schedule! First class subcontractors. John always made suggestions to improve our building ( many of which we adopted )but was never pushy about it. He did a great job for us and we’re very comfortable in our new 10,000 square-foot building. And he continues to check in to make sure everything is all right six months after completion! Top shelf contractor!

A Five star rating doesn’t seem to be enough, they are simply the BEST! Our experience with Ricci Construction began in March 2010 with the “extreme makeover” of our summer residence. Our goal was to downsize and move from our larger residence in North Haven to our smaller summer residence so that we could live there year round. We met with John and discussed our “wish list” and “must haves” in the redesign, crucial of which was the curing of an ongoing (10+years) leak above our kitchen window that only occured during heavy, horizontal rainfalls which are common on the Long Island Sound.

It’s unbelievable! We got the keys of the new house today. It’s a gorgeous house. [[We couldn’t, can’t and won’t be able to find a single word to express our appreciation to all of you.]] It’s your very kind, generous and tireless help that made our dream a reality. We reserve our appreciation to each of you forever. We simply want to say thank you Everyone!!!

One last important topic to mention – beyond the quality of the home and the client experience in working with Ricci Construction- is the obvious skill and diplomacy John Ricci has in working patiently and productively with municipal regulators, community activists, association leaders, curious neighbors, subcontractors, and vendors. All either had a longstanding affection for John or soon came to appreciate him and trust him if it was a new relationship. I saw him win over potential antagonists in regulatory hearings and community meetings through honesty, incredible document preparation, fairness, logic, and charm. Despite the unpredictable snags and crisis that arise from weather and materials to shifting regulatory concerns, let alone some of the volatility and macho position taking endemic to the industry, John never losses his cheerful dignity. He sees every challenge as an opportunity for creative problem solving with his endearing mantra consistently being “Its ALL good…”

Two years ago I began my search for a home builder for my new upscale home. The name that kept coming up was John Ricci.
